Damian's Website: The Asus Eee PC 901: Computing for ants.

While wandering my local thrift store, I found myself a pretty decent condition Asus Eee PC 901. Came with the original sleeve, charger, documentation and Restore DVD, and a seemingly brand new battery. I poked the power button in the store, and suprisingly, it fired up immediately.

I just had to have it. I took it home and it was running Ubuntu 12.04, with someone else's information on it. I reset the machine and reinstalled the original Eee PC Restore DVD it came with, and uses Asus' Linux distro before realizing it was completely useless in my case, and I installed Windows XP Professional on it instead.

The Eee PC can be incredibly slow, even doing simple tasks, and I'm considering upgrading the RAM to it's maximum 2GB. I've found sticks for maybe 10 dollars. I can probably find a used one for cheaper, but I haven't really looked too hard.
